EchoStar Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: DISH) and its DISH Network® satellite TV service announced today that it has acquired exclusive broadcast rights from SCP Worldwide for residential Pay-Per-View distribution to the South American World Cup qualifying games for the International Federation of Football Association (FIFA) international soccer tournament, World Cup South Africa 2010.

DISH Network will carry the South American World Cup qualifier games commencing on October 13 and running through November 21, 2007. The top 16 games will air on DISH Network Pay-Per-View, with the remaining four available on DISH Network's GolTV. Packages for four games airing within a two-day period are also available for $59.99. The four games on GolTV are available free to subscribers of DISH Network's America's Top 250 or any DISH Latino packages.

The 10 competing South American teams include Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.
