As Senior Vice President of IT Shared Services, Jamie Williams is responsible for DISH’s corporate IT systems, IT operations, international delivery teams, and the project management office. He and his teams are tasked with driving quality project deliveries for IT, leading our path into the adoption and operationalization of cloud environments, supporting our business with corporate systems and data warehouses, and supporting the IT organization with shared services that enable best-in-class performance and delivery.
Before joining DISH, Jamie served as Chief Information Officer for several companies, including Coolsys, where he was responsible for stabilizing the company's IT systems and integrating more than 20 acquired companies into one. Jamie was the first CIO of the newly formed Alterra Mountain Company, where he led the unification of seven different acquired companies and the launch of strategic new products. Jamie also previously served as the CIO at Rogers Communications where he led a digital and IT transformation. In addition to these prior positions, Jamie spent many years of his career as an IT executive at Sprint-Nextel in various roles throughout IT.
Jamie earned his Bachelor of Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Master of Information Systems Technology from The George Washington University. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He also loves traveling, skiing, hiking and climbing Colorado fourteeners.
