Artie Wilkowsky

As Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer, Artie Wilkowsky ensures DISH’s IT systems and customer-management platforms are safe and secure. He and his team are also responsible for working with the DISH Wireless team to ensure DISH’s 5G network launches with state-of-the-art security. Artie specializes in security strategy and organizational change, risk management,

vulnerability management and compliance.

 

Previously at DISH, Artie was Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer. In this role, he transformed DISH’s security program and helped to secure the entire enterprise, including DISH TV, SLING TV, In-Home Services and DISH Wireless.

 

Before DISH, Artie was a cybersecurity consultant at PwC where he focused on cybersecurity, privacy and risk in technology. While at First Data, Artie was the Information Security Officer for the Electronic Federal Tax Payment System, which processes more than $2 trillion annually and is part of the U.S. Critical Infrastructure. His more than 20-year career began as a network engineer for Affiliated Computer Services.

 

Artie earned his Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management from Regis University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Northern Colorado. He is also a CISSP, CRISC, and Certified ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.

 

Artie enjoys woodworking, listening to music, traveling, biking, and spending time with his wife and two sons.
