EchoStar Acquires Distribution Rights for England vs. Sri Lanka and England vs. Pakistan Cricket Tours

EchoStar Satellite LLC, a subsidiary of EchoStar Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: DISH), announced today that it has acquired the exclusive rights to distribute on television and broadband the England vs. Sri Lanka and England vs. Pakistan cricket matches that will take place in England this summer.

EchoStar is offering the events for sublicensing to cable, satellite and Internet providers.

Live coverage of the nine-match England vs. Sri Lanka tour will begin on May 11 and run through July 2. Live coverage of the 10-match England vs. Pakistan tour will begin July 13 and run through Sept. 11.

EchoStar has certain rights available for sub-licensees to distribute in the following territories: Canada, the Caribbean and the United States. EchoStar's DISH Network satellite TV service will broadcast the tours on an exclusive basis in the United States.
