Robert Currie

As Senior Vice President of Ting Mobile, Rob is responsible for sales, marketing, go-to-market strategy and operations of the business. Rob is a seasoned wireless executive who has deep expertise in building brands and taking growth-oriented enterprises to the next level.


Rob most recently led two of Canada’s fastest growing and most dynamic mobile brands — Koodo Mobile and Public Mobile (TELUS Communications brands) — where he successfully reignited customer focus, reduced churn and helped brand growth.


In his last two roles with TELUS Communications, Rob drove new growth in the business with full P&L control over strategy, operations, marketing, and customer satisfaction. He increased business revenue, raised EBITDA, and redesigned and implemented a new retail strategy.


Previously, Rob held business development and product roles for entrepreneurial software organizations, including Algorithmics and Genasys. Rob brings a strong background in strategic partnerships, product, retail strategy, and customer acquisition and experience.


Rob holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University and a Master of Science from the University of Toronto. In his free time, Rob enjoys riding bikes, swinging rackets and clubs, and spending time with his wife and two teenagers.
