Narayan Iyengar

As Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Narayan Iyengar is responsible for key business operations, including Customer Experience Operations, In-Home Services, Billing & Credit, and Manufacturing & Distribution. He is focused on digital transformation, building seamless omnichannel customer journeys and accelerating strategic initiatives for the business.

 

Narayan has more than 20 years of experience championing operational transformative initiatives and building frictionless omnichannel customer journeys in leading global companies.

 

Prior to joining DISH, Narayan served as the Senior Vice President, Digital and E-Commerce at Albertsons Companies Inc., where he led the company’s digital transformation by building an omnichannel customer journey, launching e-commerce offerings, expanding the loyalty program, and launching their retailer media network. He also served as Vice President, E-Commerce and Digital Analytics of The Walt Disney Company, where he drove e-commerce growth for Walt Disney’s theme parks, resorts, cruise lines and guided family adventures. Narayan also served in leadership roles at McKinsey & Company and has worked with various founders of growth-stage, venture-backed companies as an adviser, interim executive, and board member. 


Narayan earned his engineering degree from University of Mysore, India, and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his wife and two boys, hiking and mountain biking.
