Larry Katzin

In his role as Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, Larry Katzin leads the management of all aspects of DISH’s litigation.

Before joining DISH in 2011, Katzin was a partner with the San Francisco office of Morrison & Foerster, an international law firm, where he primarily handled commercial and securities litigation matters. Prior to Morrison & Foerster, Katzin began his legal career and rose to become a partner in Bronson, Bronson & McKinnon, where he handled complex litigation.

While practicing in San Francisco, Katzin served on the boards of Bay Area Lawyers for Individual Freedom and the AIDS Legal Referral Panel. On several occasions, he received the Wiley W. Manuel Certificate for providing pro bono legal services to low-income clients.

Katzin earned his law degree from The University of Chicago Law School, and his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where he double-majored in Political Science and Economics (and attended every home game of the men’s basketball team). He currently serves on the boards of the Legal Aid Foundation of Colorado and of Denver’s Temple Emanuel.

Larry enjoys watching North Carolina basketball, working the New York Times crossword puzzle, and spending time with his husband and their daughter.
