As Senior Vice President of National Radio Frequency Engineering, Heather leads the national radio frequency (RF) engineering and planning, regulatory services and spectrum coordination teams.
Before joining DISH, Heather had a 19-year career with Sprint-Nextel, where she led a variety of initiatives, including long-term network strategy planning, spectrum harvesting, radio access network (RAN) transition and RF engineering. Heather most recently served as Vice President, Access Networks for Rogers Communications, where she helped launch Canada’s first and largest 5G network and led their national network engineering, planning and design efforts.
Heather earned her Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University, where she graduated with honors. In addition to her academic accomplishments, Heather achieved a Professional Engineer (PE) license, a credential obtained by few in the field, and is licensed in seven states. In her spare time, Heather enjoys sci-fi, spending time with animals, exploring new coffee shops, and watching UFC.
