Nick Sayeedi

Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer

Nick Sayeedi serves as Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of DISH, overseeing the legal aspects of launching and operating Sling TV, a live over-the-top multichannel video business.

Prior to his current position, Nick served for three years as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Blockbuster, responsible for the legal and compliance aspects of the company’s business worldwide.

Since joining DISH in 1997, Nick has served as Vice President and Associate General Counsel, heading a team of 15 lawyers in the U.S. and Europe handling the transactional, international, and intellectual property legal work of DISH and EchoStar. Additionally, he spent three years at EchoStar’s European headquarters overseeing the international legal work of the company and its affiliates.

Nick holds a J.D. from the University of California, and a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Colorado. He is licensed to practice law in the U.S. (Colorado) and Europe (England and Wales). He enjoys climbing mountains and traveling internationally.
