Drew Major

Drew Major is Senior Vice President within the DISH Technologies organization, leading advanced technology initiatives for Sling TV.

 

Prior to DISH, Drew co-founded Move Networks and worked for Cisco. He is best known for his role as one of the principal engineers of the Novell Netware Operating System for which he was a developer and lead architect for over 20 years.

 

Drew has received multiple accolades for his successful career in technology, including being named to BYTE Magazine’s 20 Most Influential People in the computer industry. He was inducted into the National Computer Hall of Fame in 1999.

 

Drew earned his Bachelor of Science in Math and Computer Science at Brigham Young University in 1980. He currently resides in Utah with his wife and four sons.
